borough of newtown (PA) - design guidelines
OVERVIEW
First settled in 1684, the historic core of the Borough of Newtown retains a number of buildings dating from its early settlement and later expansion through the 19th and early 20th centuries. PDP served as the Borough's preservation consultant to the Historical and Architectural Review Board (HARB) from 1999 through 2007. During that period, PDP prepared Design Guidelines brochures for the Borough, a HARB application, and a brochure describing the historic review process.
